Closeby is the magnificent Searock „Hvítserkur“.  On our way we experience the special 2 km trail in water across the lake Hóp.   Overnight at a guesthouse nearby.

We enjoy soft trails along the river Vatnsdalsá to farm Dæli where we stay the next 2 nights.

Today we enjoy the excitements of participating with local farmers bringing theyr horses to the corral „Víðidalstungurétt“. About 1000 young horses and  mares with foals come together at the corral and it´s an amazing sight to seet this big herd running down from the mountains.

In the morning we watch the farmers while they separate the horses at the corral. We start riding in the afternoon, cross the heathlands of Miðfjarðarháls and ride along the river Miðfjarðará to our destination at Reynhólar farm. Overnight at Dæli farm.
